FSCD – In Home Support

Program Description

Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) is a government funded program designed for in-home therapeutic family support.  PREP is an approved FSCD provider allowing us to do 6 month Behaviour Developmental Support (BDS) or Special Services (SS) contracts for children with Down syndrome aged 1.5 – grade 6. Therapeutic supports include Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Therapy, and aide support.

Dates/Times

FSCD services happen Monday – Friday from 9am – 6pm.  For children in school, all sessions must fall outside of school hours.

Cost

$20/hr top-up fee for therapeutic services (this includes direct and indirect time)
